Bihar School of Yoga teachers are highly qualified to teach yoga.
 
Bihar School of Yoga teacher training is extensive, thorough, knowledgeable, authentic, comprehensive,
 
scientific, systematic and wholistic. 
 
Satyananda Yogic Studies is yoga studies and yoga training at a level higher to this. 
 
Yogic studies at the 750 hour level plus is undertaken. 
 
Further yoga training is completed if teaching yoga to children, teens, seniors, pre-natal, special needs,
 
yoga therapy for teaching yoga to each of these categories. 
 
Yoga education and training takes years to complete with a series of exams theoretical and practical. 
 
The yoga course is long and arduous. The studies are serious and require diligence, integrity, total commitment.  
 
Most Bihar School of Yoga teachers are graduates in fields other than yoga and in yoga as well.
 
Yoga studies include, knowledge of asanas (poses), pranayama (breathing), shatkarmas (cleansing, detox
 
practices), yoga nidra (a pratyahara practice), concentration techniques (dharana), meditation (dhyana),
 
yogic diet and lifestyle, yamas & niyamas, ayurveda (introductory), mantras, kirtan, havan.   
 
Navvaratri (Ayesha) teaches at Satyananda Yoga Center and is a sevak of Guru (in the service of Guru).

Navvaratri (Ayesha) teaches yoga (as per the orders of Swami Satyananda Saraswati) to children,
 
teens, adults, pre & post natal, seniors, special needs children across Austin. 
 
Authentic, traditional yoga (which is gentle) is brought to all those interested in incorporating yoga
 
into their daily lives for good health & balance of body, mind, emotions, energy & spirit.
 
The daily practice of yoga has helped Navvaratri (Ayesha) in her daily life immensely.
 
Coming from generations of yoga practitioners, Navvaratri carries it forward to the next generation.
 
Yoga is an invaluable life science to be learnt & practiced for its nourishing,
 
preventative & promotive aspects.
 
Yoga is taught compassionately and gently - yoga practices can be challenging for those who are up
 
for these practices, yet can still be gentle, effortless, non-competitive, well within our capabilities,
 
honoring health issues that may exist; as per the aims and purposes of yoga.
 
Yoga in its entirety - not just asana, poses, taken as synonomous for yoga.  
 
Yoga practices are taught as per individual needs and requirements, suitable to the yoga student and
 
aspirant, for the yoga practitioner.
