Dr. Usha Sundaram (Swami Dharmakeerti) was a psychiatrist at the National Institute of Mental Health in Bangalore & also is a Yoga Acharya (Yoga Master) of Swami Satyananda Saraswati, of Bihar School of Yoga (world’s first Yoga University).
She will talk on & teach practices of Hatha (yoga of the balance of body & mind), Raj (yoga psychology),
Bhakti (yoga of the heart - balancing emotions), Gyana (yoga of the intellect), Karma ((yoga of actions - the balance of behavior)
Yogas - for Equanimity - Samarpan -
Quiet happiness of body, compassion (heart), mind, intellect, actions in balance & harmony with one another.

BHAKTI YOGA:   ***Kirtan by the Mayapuris *** at 6 p.m.
Learn about Bhakti, the yoga that centers around the emotions.
Learn how to balance the emotions. Excess & uncontrolled emotions can be quite destructive. Sublimation of emotions through Bhakti Yoga practices are spoken of & taught. 
The heart’s capacity for spiritual love and devotion is unlimited.
It is said that all spiritual paths eventually lead to the path of love. Saints from all traditions (Christian, Hindu, Sufi, Islamic, etc.) are discussed, illustrating how devotion has always been the final movement toward the Spirit.
Open the heart chakra.

The Ramayana is an epic adventure from ancient India that ranks as one of the world’s great classics of literature (like the Iliad & the Odyssey). Universal values and wisdom embedded in this story are just as relevant today.
Insights are revealed in this multi-layered story.

basis) is filled with timeless wisdom and a dramatic story. Swami Dharmakeerti expertly explains the significance of the Gita’s many
characters and how we can apply Krishna’s ancient yogic principles to find Peace & security in today’s uncertain times.
The Bhagvad Gita has universal appeal.
