Yoga for Seniors (65 +) is taught safely, appropriately for those who are of this age group.
Health issues and physical limitations are considered.
Chairs are available to sit on for yoga practices - getting down on to the floor is not necessary.
Poses (asana), Pranayama (using the breath), Shavasana, Yoga Nidra, Relaxation, Concentration and Meditation practices are taught.
This class can help with health: physical and mental, energy, morale, balance emotions, memory, to focus, concentrate and for spiritual purposes.
Yoga for Seniors helps with posture, movement - getting about more easily, sleep, pain management, being active in life, being present, strong, connecting within,
moving away from fear of death 'abhinivesh', looking forward to the next stage, moving onwards. Happiness.
